I've dedicated over 20 years to Eanes students as a parent, volunteer and trustee. The challenges ahead are real, but so is my commitment to this community. I would be honored to have your vote and the opportunity to continue serving our students, our educators, and our schools.
Over the past six years as your trustee, I've shown up for the hard stuff, and there's been plenty of it.
I've championed the creation of our district police department, putting a trained officer on every campus. I've fought for competitive teacher pay through lean budget years, including back-to-back 5% raises in 2022 and 2023. I helped pass a $131.4 million bond with zero tax rate increase and pushed to use bond dollars strategically so operating funds could stay focused on salaries and classrooms. And through COVID, enrollment shifts, stalled state funding, and relentless recapture pressure, I've pushed for honest communication with families and decisions that always put students first. In 2024, I earned my Master Trustee designation upon completing a competitive year-long program alongside trustees from across Texas and was appointed to the Lone Star Investment Pool board. Eanes deserves trustees who show up fully, not just for meetings, but for the work between.

in Texas. That's not luck, it's the product of strategic investment and experienced leadership. My first job is protecting it. That means continuous improvement: growing alternative learning pathways, and using performance data to deliver targeted support early, when it makes the biggest difference. Every child deserves their own path to success.

Teachers are the foundation of everything. I'll keep fighting for competitive compensation, expand mentorship for new teachers, and protect the culture that makes Eanes a place the best educators choose and choose to stay. We will continue to grow our own, partnering with universities to build our pipeline, and do everything we can to make teaching in Eanes a home, not just a job.

Families deserve to know what's coming before it arrives. I'll push for comprehensive communication plans, publish plain-language budget updates, and make sure hard news travels from the boardroom to your inbox, not the rumor mill. No surprises. No spin.
Lead with Fiscal Responsibility
State funding is frozen, recapture sends 65 cents of every tax dollar back to the state, and vouchers are now law. I'll pursue alternative revenue streams, maximize operational efficiencies and ensure community input guides smart facility investments that modernize our infrastructure within our means.
